In 1963, Night In Old Fredericksburg was started as a simple fundraiser to send the high school marching band to an out-of-state competition.
For 50 years the festival has blossomed onto a signature annual event, celebrating the heritage and cultures that make Fredericksburg such a special place.
Plan to dance the nights away to the sounds of traditional German oompah and hot Texas country.
Savor our famous local food, beer and wine offerings.
Shop an eclectic assortment of jewelry, home décor, specialty foods and art treasures.
Watch your children play in the park, ride the carnival rides and watch imagery from 1963 on a huge outdoor screen.
In honor of our beginnings in 1963, Crenwelge Motor Sales will be displaying some 1960s vintage cars and beginning at dusk each night, attendees will see some of the iconic movie imagery of the year as the bands play. Anyone remember Hitchcock's The Birds, the Bond classic From Russia With Love or the romantic comedy/mystery Charades, starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn?
